Visiting a zoo

For the last couple of days, I've been to Dyreparken in Kristiansand (a zoo) with my son. He especially enjoyed the animals that it was possible to get really close to, like domestic animals and the small deers (Bambi like), but probably enjoyed the amusement parts of the park even more. Myself, I just can't stop wanting a cuddly "little" tiger ...

The first day was a disappointment regarding the tigers, they were all sleeping quite a way from the fence and were hard to see. The second day they were all eager to get inside for feeding it seemed, and spent a lot of time just by the fence where it was easiest to see them. They roared so they could be heard hundreds of meters away (Was that the tiger?! Oooh, yes!), walked around, relaxed, took a walk in the water, cuddled with each other, all for at least half an hour, me going crazy with my camera (and several of the shots came out rather acceptable). See a couple of more here. My digital camera is also (like most others these days) capable of taking some footage, and I got a small snippet showing them walking and cuddling. Until I can figure this YouTube stuff out though, they will be hidden in obscurity ...
